Is SkinArtLab free?
Yes. The editor, repair tool, Photo to Skin, posing and downloads are free, with no paywall.
Do I need an account?
No. You can create and download skins without signing up. An account is only needed to publish skins or keep them in the cloud.
Can I make HD Minecraft skins?
Yes. SkinArtLab supports 64×64, 128×128 and 256×256 skins. Java Edition uses 64×64; 128×128 works in Bedrock.
Can I turn a photo into a Minecraft skin?
Yes. Photo to Skin builds a skin from one photo, or from separate front, back, side and top photos.
Can I fix a broken or old Minecraft skin?
Yes. Skin Repair lets you place every face of the skin again from any picture.
Does it work for Java and Bedrock?
Yes. Download the PNG and upload it in the Minecraft launcher (Java) or the Bedrock character creator.
